The National Independent Soccer Association(NISA) announced yesterday its entire 2024 season schedule set to kick off three weeks from today. Nine clubs will play in an east/west conference format, focusing on regional, inter-conference, and intra-conference matches, totaling 106 regular season matches.
On Friday, the U.S. Soccer Federation announced the finalized format and all clubs participating in the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. All nine NISA clubs will participate in the competition and start their quest for the cup in Round 1 on March 19-21. The draw for the U.S. Open Cup is TBA. The league also confirmed that all of its clubs will participate in this summer’s NISA Independent Cup.

The 2024 season will kick off with inter-conference matches hosted by Georgia Lions SC from March 23-31. Six matches are scheduled to be played at Dalton Academy Stadium, and the location of four other inter-conference matches is TBA. Each club will play one match against every opposing conference club. The second round of inter-conference matches will be played from August 3-10 and hosted by West Coast clubs.
As for the 2024 NISA Playoffs, the format will be different this year as the top two teams in each conference will advance to their respective conference championship during the weekend of Oct. 4-6. The regular season head-to-head winner between conference champions will host the 2024 NISA Championship final the weekend of Oct. 25-27.
NISA also announced the league has launched NISA+ and that every match will be streamed on the platform for fans to watch.
