Another week of NISA Nation action is in the books for the Coast and Southwest regions. Before we get into today’s recap, let’s catch you up on some news from the Tennessee region. First, NISA Nation announced a new expansion team, Music City Soccer Club, based in Nashville, TN. Speaking of the Tennessee region, the opening matches have been set for April 26 as Dream FC takes on Nashville Knights FC while FK Han faces Paul Depay FC. Worldwide Problems FC 9 Lobos FC 1 (Saturday April 12)
Worldwide Problems FC dominated Lobos FC in a 9-1 victory on Saturday at Long Beach City College. Julio, Chino, and Kentrell added their names to the scoresheet for Worldwide Problems FC to grab their first three points of the spring season. Lobos FC will look to move on from this heavy defeat and bounce back, hosting Inland Empire FC on April 26 at Orange County Great Park. Worldwide Problems FC’s next match will be on the road on May 3 in a couple of weeks to face Inland Empire FC at Arroyo Valley High School Stadium.
Capo FC vs Temecula FC (Saturday April 12)
The match between Capo FC and Temecula FC was cancelled on Saturday at Vista Hermosa Sports Park due to poor field conditions.
The match was originally supposed to be played at JSerra Catholic High School Stadium but was relocated to Vista Hermosa Sports Park in San Clemente, CA. NISA Nation has not announced a rescheduled date yet. Temecula FC returns to Chaparral High School Stadium on Saturday to take on LA Force 2 (formerly FC Golden State Force). Capo FC’s next match will be on May 3 against Lobos FC at Orange County Great Park.
Las Vegas United FC 2 STG Premier Pro 1 (Saturday April 12)
Las Vegas United FC defeated STG Premier Pro 2-1 on Saturday at Desert Pines High School Stadium. LV United trailed 1-0 in the match but fought back with two late goals in the second half to seal the win at home. LV United gets its second straight win, while STG Premier Pro remains winless. LV United’s next match will be on Saturday on the road to take on FC Anahuac at Canyon Springs High School Stadium. STG Premier Pro will return to Utah for their next match on April 26 as they host Soccer Academy Nevada at Snow Canyon High School Stadium.
Soccer Academy Nevada 0 Sin City FC 3 (Saturday April 12)
Sin City FC remains undefeated, securing a 3-0 victory on the road against Soccer Academy Nevada on Saturday at Canyon Springs High School Stadium. Esequiel Coronel, Jose Poncho, and David all scored for Sin City FC in this match and are atop the Southwest region with 9 points. Sin City FC has scored 11 goals while only conceding two in three matches. Soccer Academy Nevada is on a two-match winless streak. Soccer Academy Nevada will hit the road on April 26 as they travel to Utah to face STG Premier Pro at Snow Canyon High School Stadium. Sin City FC will return home at Mater Academy East High School Stadium on April 27 to battle Be Pro FC.
