Last Friday, the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) announced its seventh club to participate in the 2025 NISA Pro Cup Tournament this fall. The 2025 NISA Nation Southwest Region Champions, Sin City FC, based in Las Vegas, NV, will play in the fall tournament. Sin City FC was founded in 2024 and made its debut in NISA Nation this year. The club began playing in the Nevada Premier League of the Southwest Premier League and went undefeated during the 2024 fall season. The club is led by Head Coach and Owner Gennette Martinez, who has 25 years of coaching experience in the Las Vegas area. She has led various youth teams to five state championships and two regional championships. Martinez also led the Las Vegas Legends to an undefeated run to the 2023 NISA Nation National Championship final, where the club finished runners-up to champions NOVA FC. Martinez shared her thoughts on the opportunity for Sin City FC to play in the NISA Pro Cup.
” In our club’s short history, we have achieved great levels of success so far.” Sin City FC Head Coach and Owner Gennette Martinez said. “We are excited to test ourselves against the strongest
teams NISA Pro has to offer. We can’t wait to demonstrate our talents on a bigger stage. We are
grateful and motivated to be considered for the opportunity.”
Sin City FC finished its inaugural spring season in NISA Nation first in the Southwest Region with
33 points and won the 2025 spring season championship. The club also won the USASA Region IV
Amateur Cup in Salt Lake City in June, and qualified for the 2025 USASA Amateur Cup National
finals in Milwaukee. Sin City FC fell in the semifinal stage 3-2 to eventual champion West Chester
United SC. Sin City FC won both the NISA Nation Southwest Region championship and a SWPL
conference title, and has won 4 championships so far this season, with two more national
championship finals to play in August.
