2025 NISA Pro Cup Day 1 Recap

Day 1 of the 2025 NISA Pro Cup is in the books, filled with plenty of drama, but after waiting for nearly a year, fans got to see some NISA action. We had a match that played a half and was abandoned, another that went to PKs, a battle between Arkansas Wolves and Los Angeles Force, and more. In case you missed it, let’s recap day 1 of the NISA Pro Cup.

Modesto City 0 Northern Colorado Hailstorm 4 (Monday October 13)

The Hailstorm defeated Modesto City FC 4-0 at the Michigan Stars Sports Center Turf Field. Modesto City FC only had nine players for this match. Bamadele Esan scored two goals in the match, while Travis Ward and Carlos Valenzuela added one each, giving the Hailstorm a 4-0 lead just before halftime. The match was abandoned in the second half as Modesto were down to eight players due to a player injury and could not continue. The final score will stand, and all goals scored for the Hailstorm will count. At the time of this post, the NISA league has not announced a decision on what’s next for Modesto City FC’s next match against Sin City FC tomorrow afternoon. The Hailstorm will face Capo FC tomorrow.
