We are halfway through the 2025 NISA Nation fall season in the Southwest Region as we now enter November. We have only five matches to recap as the league took a break during the 2025 NISA Pro Cup last month. In other news. Problems FC forward Julio Perez was selected as the NISA Nation Player of the Week, Sept. 22-28. Sin City FC midfielder Andy Rodriguez was selected as the NISA Nation Player of the Week for Sept. 29-Oct. 5. Capo FC defender Terry Bamou was selected as the NISA Nation Player of the Week for Oct. 6-12. Capo FC forfeited their away matches this weekend against STG Premier Pro and Sin City FC. We have plenty to cover today, so let’s get to the recap.
NISA Nation – Week 5 NISA Nation Results
STG Premier Pro 1 Sin City FC 5 (Saturday October 4)
Andy Rodriguez scored a hat trick as Sin City FC cruised past STG Premier Pro 5-1 at Pine View High School Stadium in St. George, UT. Sin City FC picked up its first win of the fall season and snapped its three-match winless streak. Julio Vargas and Daryan Coronel each added a goal for Sin City FC, while Jorge Quintero was the lone goalscorer for STG Premier Pro in this match.
Problems FC 1 Temecula FC 0 (Sunday October 5)
Jorge Taylor scored the lone goal as Problems FC shut out Temecula FC 1-0 at Long Beach City College Soccer Field. With that result, Problems FC moves to second in the table with seven points.
LA Force 2 1 Capo FC 1 (Sunday October 5)
LA Force 2 and Capo FC fought to a thrilling 1-1 draw at St. Anthony High School Stadium. After a scoreless first half, Miguel Peña scored the first goal of the match for Capo FC to take the lead. However, late in the second half, Bryan Bustamante scored the equalizer, leveling the match, and the teams split the points. LA Force move to the top of the table with eight points.
NISA Nation – Week 6 NISA Nation Results
Capo FC 3 Temecula FC 3 (Saturday October 11)
Capo FC and Temecula FC battled to a 3-3 draw at Vista Hermosa Sports Park. Terry Bamou scored the opener for Capo FC before the Quails equalized early in the first half. Bamou of Capo FC and Alberto Renteria of Temecula FC traded goals again to make it 2-2 just before halftime. In the second half, Jordan Samuels scored to restore Capo FC’s lead before Edwin Sique found the equalizer for Temecula to even the match at 3-3, and both teams earned a point.
Capo FC 1 Problems FC 3 (Sunday October 26)
Capo FC fell 3-1 to Problems FC at University High School Stadium. Jorge Taylor scored the opener to give Problems FC the lead. Kristian Colaci’s goal tied the match at 1-1 for Capo FC, but Ivan Lopez scored to put Problems FC ahead 2-1 just before halftime. In the second half, Manuel Talavera buried the insurance goal to seal the win for Problems FC. With that result, Problems FC moves up to the top of the table in the Southwest Region with 10 points, while Capo FC has been winless in their last three matches.
