NISA Nation Week 8, 9, 10, and 11 Recap

NISA Nation has two more weeks of its fall season left in the Southwest Region. Problems FC forward Ivan Lopez was selected as the NISA Nation Player of the Week for Oct. 20-26, LA Force 2 forward George Almeida was chosen as the NISA Nation Player of the Week for Oct. 27-Nov. 2, and LA Force 2 forward Oscar Delgado was selected as the NISA Nation Player of the Week for Nov. 3-9. The week 7 match was Capo FC vs Problems FC, which Problems won 3-1 on Oct. 26. We recap that one last time. We have plenty to cover today, so let’s get to the recap.

NISA Nation – Week 8 NISA Nation Results

LA Force 2 3 Temecula FC 0 (Saturday November 1)

LA Force 2 defeated Temecula FC 3-0 at Long Beach City College. George Almeida made his debut and scored two goals, and added an assist. Oscar Delgado added a goal to seal the win over the Quails.

Note: (Capo FC did forfeit their match against Sin City FC on November 2. Sin City was awarded a 3-0 win.)

NISA Nation – Week 9 NISA Nation Results

Temecula FC 0 Capo FC 3 (Saturday November 8)

Capo FC snapped their four-match winless streak with a 3-0 shutout against Temecula FC at Chaparral High School. Dakota Hatzenbeller scored the opening goal for Capo FC. Just before halftime, Cole Simes scored to double Capo FC’s lead to 2-0. In the second half, Jonathan Estrada added another goal to seal the win for Capo FC and put them back in the hunt for the Southwest Region title.

Problems FC 0 LA Force 2 2 (Sunday November 9)

LA Force 2 continued their unbeaten run to five matches with a 2-0 win over Problems FC at Long Beach City College. Erick Villatoro and Bryan Ortega scored for the Force in this match. LA Force 2 now has a four-point lead over Problems FC, who are second in the Southwest Region table. LA Force 2 will face Problems FC again next month.

NISA Nation – Week 10 NISA Nation Results

Temecula FC 2 Sin City FC 1 (Saturday November 15)

Temecula FC edged Sin City FC 2-1 Saturday at Chaparral High School Stadium. Alberto Renteria scored the opener for the Quails before Sin City equalized with a goal from Miguel Higareda, and the teams were tied at one going into halftime. In the second half, Victor Rolph scored the winning goal for Temecula FC to pull away for the win and snapped their six-match winless streak. That result was the first win of the fall season for the Quails.

Problems FC 2 Sin City FC 4 (Sunday November 16)

Sin City FC bounces back the next day on their California road trip with a 4-2 win against Problems FC on Sunday at Long Beach City College. Sin City FC struck first with a goal from Miguel Higareda to take the lead. In the second half, Sin City FC were rolling, getting goals from David Villanueva, Andy Rodriguez, and Higareda to take a 4-0 lead. Problems FC added two goals from Angel Flores and Coby Jacobs, but Sin City FC held on for the win.

NISA Nation – Week 11 NISA Nation Results

Sin City FC 4 LA Force 2 5 (Saturday November 22)

LA Force 2 held on to defeat Sin City FC 5-4 on Saturday at Mater Academy East High School Stadium. David Villanueva scored a hat trick for Sin City FC, but it was not enough as LA Force found a way to secure their fifth straight win. LA Force got goals from Chile, Dekel Keinan, and Jonathan Guadarrama, and are now in first place in the Southwest Region, five points ahead of Capo FC. LA Force 2 are now unbeaten in their last six matches.

Problems FC 1 Capo FC 3 (Sunday November 23)

Capo FC beat Problems FC 3-1 on Sunday at Long Beach City College. Miguel Moreno scored the first goal of the match to put Problems FC in front. However, shortly after, Capo FC equalized with a goal from Miguel Peña to tie the match before halftime. In the second half, Parker Scalzo and Dakota Hatzenbeller each added a goal for Capo FC to pull away with the win and move to second in the table.
