Latest NISA News

In other league-related news, NISA announced a new strategic partnership with sports consulting firm RML Advisory Group in January. The firm specializes in content strategy, sponsorship development, and valuation and has supported clients such as Italy’s Serie A, EFL Championship side Ipswich Town, La Liga’s Espanyol, and Chicago Fire FC of Major League Soccer. RML Advisory Group has supported NISA across league operations, strategic planning, communications, and club-facing initiatives over the last couple of months as the pro league focuses on obtaining professional sanctioning for the Fall 2026 season by the U.S. Soccer Federation. 2025 NISA Pro Cup MVP Joel Quist was signed by Sirens FC of the Maltese Challenge League in Malta last month, while his teammate Josue Cartagena moved on to join CD FAS in El Salvador. The Arkansas Wolves will play friendlies called the “Wolves Pro Series,” host 3-4 home matches, and play 5-6 road matches during the spring and summer months. The Wolves first match will be on the road on Saturday, taking on Chicago Fire FC II of MLS NEXT Pro on April 4.

Last week, Commissioner Chandler Hoffman shared an update on NISA on social media, confirming that the league has submitted a pro sanctioning application to the U.S. Soccer Federation for Division 3 sanctioning, alongside USL League One and MLS NEXT Pro. He issued the following statement below.
