NISA Spring Showcase Recap 4

After 12 weeks of action this spring, the 2026 NISA Spring Showcase concluded over a week ago with the Los Angeles Force edging out Sin City FC to take the Southwest Region title. Let’s catch you up on the final few weeks in the competition.

NISA Spring Showcase – Week 9 Results

Royal Society FC 2 Inland Empire FC 2 (Saturday May 24)

Royal Society FC drew Inland Empire FC 2-2 at Pacific High School Stadium. Alejandro Martinez scored the opening goal for Inland Empire FC, but German Moreno and Fashinu Nesbeth scored to pull Royal Society FC to a 2-1 lead just before halftime. In the second half, Alberto Gonzalez Castro scored a late equalizer for Inland Empire as both sides secured a point.

NISA Spring Showcase – Week 10 Results

Royal Society FC 1 Sin City FC 6 (Saturday May 30)

Sin City dominated Royal Society FC with a 6-1 win at Al Barbour Stadium at Biola University. In the first half, David Villanueva and Caleb Castano scored a goal apiece for Sin City FC to take a 2-0 lead into the half. In the second half, Miguel Higareda, Roberto Soto, Brandon Vargas, and Duce Bell all scored for Sin City FC to bounce back with a win on the road.

Los Angeles Force 3 Capo FC 2 (Saturday May 30)

The Los Angeles Force edged Capo FC 3-2 at St. Anthony High School Stadium Saturday in Long Beach, CA. Abdul Mansaray scored the opener for Capo FC in the 43rd minute, but a minute later, the Force equalized through Chila to level the match before halftime. In the second half, Mansaray struck again to score his second goal of the match and 13th goal of the season to put Capo FC ahead 2-1. Despite trailing twice in the match, the Force overturned the deficit with goals from Kian Aminloo and a stoppage-time winner by Oscar Delgado to seal the win and take one step closer to clinching the Southwest Region title. It’s the second time the Force have defeated Capo FC in the 2026 NISA Spring Showcase after defeating their 405 Derby rivals 3-1 on April 11 at JSerra Catholic High School Stadium.

Problems FC 1 Sin City FC 5 (Sunday May 31)

Sin City FC secured back-to-back wins over the weekend with a 5-1 win over Problems FC at Al Barbour Stadium at Biola University. David Villanueva scored the lone goal in the first half for Sin City FC to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. In the second half, Miguel Higareda and Daniel Rangel added a goal apiece to pull Sin City FC to a 3-0 lead. Problems FC did pull one back with a goal from Miguel Moreno. However, Rangel added his second goal of the night, and Duce Bell added the insurance goal as Sin City FC’s win keeps them in the hunt for the Southwest Region title.

Inland Empire FC 1 Royal Society FC 2 (Sunday May 31)

Royal Society FC defeated Inland Empire FC 2-1 at Pacific High School Stadium. Rafael Antonio Carrillo Portillo struck first to give Inland Empire FC the lead just before halftime. In the second half, Oliver Barrosa and Evan Yoell scored to lift Royal Society FC to a win and bounce back after losing to Sin City FC the previous day.

NISA Spring Showcase – Week 11 Results

Sin City FC 2 Capo FC 1 (Saturday June 6)

Sin City defeated Capo FC 2-1 at Mater Academy East High School Stadium Saturday in Las Vegas to secure its third consecutive win. Daniel Rangel scored the opener in the first half for Sin City FC to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. In the second half, Sidney Dina scored the equalizer for Capo FC to level the match, but Rangel scored his second goal to give Sin City FC the win and finish the spring season undefeated at home. With the Los Angeles Force defeating Inland Empire FC 6-1 over the weekend, the Force won the Southwest Region title while Sin City FC finished second in the table with 24 points as both sides closed out their 2026 NISA Spring Showcase campaign. Capo FC has lost two in a row but will look to bounce back in their final match of the spring season on Sunday, going on the road to face Royal Society FC at Vista Hermosa Sports Park.

Los Angeles Force 6 Inland Empire FC 1 (Saturday June 6)

The Los Angeles Force defeated Inland Empire FC 6-1 at St. Anthony High School Stadium and sealed the Southwest Region title with 27 points to close out the 2026 NISA Spring Showcase. Roberto Molina scored twice, AJ Meade-Tatum scored twice as well, and Leonel Alvarenga also got on the scoresheet for LA. The Force finished the spring season on a five-match winning streak and an undefeated record at home, while Inland Empire FC ended the season on a nine-match winless streak. It’s the third time the Force have won a championship, following their 2024 NISA Championship title run and their 2025 NISA Pro Cup title in Michigan last year.

Problems FC 1 Royal Society FC 2 (Sunday June 7)

Royal Society FC overturned a 1-0 deficit to defeat Problems FC 2-1 at Long Beach City College. William Hernandez scored the opener for Problems FC to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. In the second half, Cesar Marquez and Baldemar Pineda scored to pull Royal Society FC to a victory and close out its spring season on a three-match winning streak, while Problems FC ended the season on a three-match winless streak.

NISA Spring Showcase – Week 12 Results

Royal Society FC 3 Capo FC 2 (Sunday June 14)

Royal Society FC edged Capo FC 3-2 at Vista Hermosa Sports Park. Guillermo Lopez scored the opening goal, and Gerardo Serna Raya added another for Royal Society FC to take a 2-0 lead in the first half. Gavin Allegaert pulled one back for Capo FC to make it 2-1 just before halftime. In the second half, both teams traded goals: Lopez scored for Royal Society FC, and Allegaert scored his second for Capo FC. In the end, Royal Society FC held on for the win and finished their spring campaign strong, with three consecutive wins to close out the 2026 NISA spring showcase.
